John and I listened to some Mark Driscoll sermons on 1 Corinthians since we've both been reading that. Mark Driscoll was once known as the "cussing pastor" but has since calmed down since being mentored by John Piper. He is, however, quite eccentric, and though I certainly wouldn't want my own husband preaching the way Mark Driscoll sometimes does (he is very, very straightforward, a little--um, colorful, at times offensive), he does speak truth and he does know what he's talking about (though this hasn't always been the case).
