An excerpt for you:

Marie had never been suicidal, but in times like these, times of anger and despair, she wanted to smash her car into the next huge oak tree she saw. Not because she wanted to die, but because it would just feel good to slam something. The closest thing sometimes was a steering wheel.
How entertaining it would be the day her husband or children made her really angry and she hit the car in front of her at 10 miles an hour just because she could. Just because it would feel good. Just because it would make them realize she was serious. Just because she was, in most aspects of the mind, a little crazy.
