Misleading fairy tales?
I read this in a friend's profile:
...wait for the guy who will make an ordinary moment seem magical, who brings out the best in u & makes u want to be a better person, the guy who will be your best friend, who will drop everything to be with u,wait for the guy who makes u smile like no other guy, wait for the guy who wants to show u off to the whole world
But I believe in something different.
Wait for the guy who doesn't make everything seem surreal. Wait for the guy that makes everything real.
Don't wait for the guy who brings out the best in you. Wait until you've established some of the greatest gifts God has given you and wait until God gives you the guy who appreciates it.
Don't wait for the guy who makes you want to be a better person. Be the person God wants you to be. Human standards? How insignificant.
Don't wait for the guy who will drop everything to be with you. Wait for the guy who wants you to be a part of his life, who wants to be a part of your life...why would you want a guy to give up things just for you?
Don't wait for the guy who wants to show you off to the whole world. Wait for the guy who realizes that the world doesn't matter.
And that's all I have to say about that.
Now THAT'S my kind of fairy tale.
