After four days of disaster, my angelic students are back to normal. Welcome back, class!
I started Spalding Phonics today. It was fun! It's really cool, too. All of you teacher friends (K-3) should definitely suggest it to your school. SERIOUSLY.
Okay, so things are great again and I'm happy. Funny how kids can control your feelings that way!
And, until another day...
"There are places I remember
All my life though some have changed.
Some forever not for better,
Some have gone and some remain.
All these places have their moments.
With lovers and friends I still can recall,
Some are dead and some are living,
In my life I've loved them all.
But of all these friends and lovers,
There is no one compares with you.
And these memories lose their meaning,
When I think of love as something new.
Though I know I'll never lose affection,
For people and things that went before.
I know I'll often stop and think about them,
In my life I love you more."

That is seriously the best Beatles song. I hum it and sing it to myself a lot. It makes me smile. I'm glad you like it too!
Gee thanks Amanda. Sara wants me to sing the song for her.
Amanda!
I love that song! Our sophomore year, the speaker at Opening Convocation did his whole talk about that song, and I will seriously never forget that speech. Alison and I like it because it makes us think about our mommies! :)
